Veterans Memorial

Tribute to Guilford County residents, who served America in the 20th century, both in uniform and on the homefront. Text and maps tell the story of why and how we went to war, including the Cold War and other conflicts. Open daily during daylight hours. Located in Country Park across from the Natural Science Center, off Lawndale Drive.

Natural Science Center of Greensboro

Get eye-to-eye with tigers, meerkats, alligators and other unique animals in our brand new Animal Discovery Zoological Park. Our science museum and

planetarium also offer memorable experiences with dinosaurs, travelling

exhibits, public shows and a children’s exploration area.
